QA Level 2 Award in Paediatric First Aid (QCF) 12 hour

Attain2Gain prides itself on its Paediatric First Aid courses. We put hundreds of students through this course every year. This course is in line with the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and meets the needs of OFSTED. It is suitable for Child minders, Nursery and School staff (dealing with Foundation Stage) and anybody who deals with children and wants a more in-depth course.
This two day (12 hour) course is delivered at your venue, by a paediatric specialist and includes both theory and practical sessions.
Following OFSTED/EYFS Guidelines
Candidates need to attend the whole course, be over 16 and complete practical tests and a multiple choice test. First Aid training has physical elements to the course, it is required all First Aiders to be physically able to undertake the task. If you feel that you may have issues regarding your suitability please feel free to contact Attain2Gain and ask to speak confidentially to the Course Director. If you have any problems with reading or mobility you have an obligation to let us know. Reduce the physical participation if you are feeling unwell as we cannot be held responsible for exacerbating any injuries on courses as you must take all reasonable steps to protect your own health & safety.
We recommend that you wear older clothes, trousers and flat shoes. It is a good idea to bring a jumper or fleece as some people are warmer than others and it helps keep everyone happy. If you learn best by making notes, please bring a notepad and pen.
